2023 Director Candidate: Jennifer Tubbs

Forsyth County Department of Social Services

 

Jennifer has been employed with Forsyth County DSS since 2002 and has 20+ years of combined experience in Economic Services and Child Support. She has played several roles in the agency, including income maintenance caseworker, child support agent, senior child support agent/trainer, child support supervisor, and economic services supervisor. She transitioned back to Child Support in February of 2016, and she is thoroughly enjoying this chapter in her career as Division Director. Jennifer graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Psychology. She currently serves on the Forsyth County Re-entry Council, the North Carolina Fatherhood Council, and the North Carolina Child Support Council Board of Directors. She also heads her county’s Incarcerated Non-custodial Parent Project. Jennifer enjoys live music, football, and spending time with her husband, son, and daughter.
